I made my friend some clay cat earrings one day and have since made her a collection of clay cats. She isn’t crazy nor a cat lady but she does love cats and misses her little Cleo. She had a beautiful cat named Cleo who one day, years ago, showed up at her apartment and never left. A cute little stray cat who took a liking to my friend like she had finally found her human. Cats are special creatures! My friend brought Cleo to her parent’s house a few years ago as she travels a lot. The picture on the left is a recent photo of Cleo when my friend visited her family. She fed Cleo some watermelon and she looks like she’s enjoying it!
Black Shorthair Earrings: Black clay with dangling tails. Plum clay for the bows. White and black clay for the eyes. (Crazy-eyed cats!)
Orange Tabby Necklace: Black clay for the eyes and Plum clay for the bow. Sweet Potato clay cat with Just Orange clay stripes hanging from a 100% Natural Heavy Jute Twine. (The twine reminded me of yarn.)
Grey Tabby Paperclip: Silver clay striped with white clay. Black clay for the eyes.
White Persian Pin: White clay for the body and black clay for the eyes. Hot Pink Pastel for the rosy cheeks.
Multicoloured Tabby Charm : White clay as base striped with Just Orange, Chocolate and Silver clay. Black clay for the eyes. (The stripes kind of look like a mustache which is awesome.)
The Cat Butts Field Guide book came in a Cat Butts magnet kit I received as a gift a few years ago and yes the magnets are on my fridge, because why not stare at cat’s assholes while getting milk.
