Maple Syrup Frosting

This frosting was used with the Guilt-Free Chocolate Cake recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 egg whites
  • 1/2 cup real maple syrup
  • 1 pinch of flaky sea salt
  1. Beat the egg whites to stiff peaks, set aside.
  2. Bring maple syrup to a boil.
  3. Add a pinch of flaky sea salt.
  4. Slowly add the syrup to the egg whites. Beat until smooth. If the mixture is runny, beat until stiff peak again.
